Brendan Latran has had a varied career since 2017. Brendan began their professional career as a Cataloger at Kent State University, where they were also a Graduate Assistant. In 2018, they worked as a Merchandising Assistant/Cashier at Home Depot and as a Student Assistant at the Kent State Performing Arts Library. Brendan then joined the Western Reserve Academy as a Library Assistant in 2019. Later that year, they became a Graduate Research Assistant at the Kent State University School of Information. In 2020, they were a Founding Member & Researcher at the International Collaboratory on Knowledge Management Research (ICKMR) and an Information Heuristics Expert at Bandwidth Inc. In 2021, they were a Taxonomist for Self Employed and a Product Content Specialist for Briza. Finally, in 2022, they became a Data Taxonomist for Eyeota.

Brendan Latran began their educational journey at West Morris Central HS. In 2011, they completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Cinematography and Film/Video Production from Quinnipiac University. In 2013, they studied Animation at the University of Westminster through a Study Abroad program. In 2018, they earned a Master of Library & Information Science - MLIS in Library and Information Science from Kent State University.
