Patrick Draus

Patrick Draus CPA is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in SOX compliance and internal auditing. Currently serving as the Associate Director of SOX Compliance and Special Projects at EyePoint since April 2024, Patrick is responsible for maintaining adherence to SOX regulations and developing Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR) frameworks. Prior to this role, Patrick held the position of Associate Director of SOX Compliance at Apellis Pharmaceuticals, where an inaugural compliance program was successfully implemented within six months. Patrick's earlier experience includes managing the internal audit department at Almost Family, Inc., and serving in various auditing roles at Moore Stevens Potter, LLP, EY, and Andersen LLP. Patrick earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Bellarmine University from 1998 to 2001.
