Darren Shelton

Darren Shelton is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the maritime industry, currently serving as Sales Director and Director of Technology Innovation at Moran Shipping Agencies since January 2001. Shelton plays a key role in liaising with maritime and energy startups, advising on development and capital raising, while also scouting investment opportunities. In addition, Shelton has held various leadership positions such as Quality Systems Director and Maritime Agency Manager, overseeing operational integrity, national teams, and multi-office management. As a co-founder of FuelTrust, Shelton is instrumental in developing industry solutions through innovative technology. Active as a public speaker and panelist since January 2000, Shelton has participated in numerous notable events focused on maritime, sustainability, and technology topics. Educational pursuits include an Executive MBA from the University of East London and ongoing training at Augment.org.
