Tjard Juergens is a seasoned professional in the maritime industry with extensive experience in business development and customer management. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Business Development at ZEABORN Ship Management since January 2019, Tjard leads new business activities, sales, and marketing efforts. Previous roles include Vice President positions focused on business development and key account management within ZEABORN. Tjard also acts as an Ambassador for Eyesea, a nonprofit dedicated to mapping maritime pollution. Prior experience includes various management positions at Rickmers Shipmanagement and Rickmers Reederei, where responsibilities encompassed asset management, operations, and commercial management. Tjard holds a degree in Shipping and Chartering from the Hamburg School of Shipping and Transportation and completed an apprenticeship at Rickmers Reederei.
