Chris Roy has over 20 years of work experience in various roles related to engineering, technology, quality assurance, and management. Currently, they serve as the Director of Engineering for Caterer Success at ezCater, where their responsibilities include ensuring reliability, integrations, and caterer engagement. Prior to this, Chris held leadership positions at MonkeySoft Solutions, an ezCater Company, where they served as the Vice President of Technology and later as the Director of Engineering. Chris was responsible for managing development, QA, IT, and technical support, as well as implementing agile development methodologies and release management processes. Before joining ezCater, Chris worked at Strangeloop Networks as a Quality Assurance Manager, at MindSpan Technologies as a Quality Assurance Manager, at Business Objects as a Software Tester, and as a Consultant involved in data translations and technical support. Chris also held positions at XML Global Technologies as an Engineering Manager and a Quality Assurance Team Lead, and at Knowledge Junction Systems, Inc. as a Quality Assurance Team Lead. Chris began their career at Electronic Arts, where they served as a Mastering Lab Technician and a Software Tester. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in technical operations, cloud migration, strategic technical relationships, outsourcing strategies, and the implementation of QA practices and agile methodologies.

Chris Roy completed their education at the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University from 2016 to 2018, earning a Master's degree in Management of Technology. Additionally, Chris obtained various certifications, including Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®), Certified Scrum Professional®-Product Owner, Certified Scrum Professional®-ScrumMaster, and Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®), from different institutions such as the Scrum Alliance.
