Kien Vu Khac

Kien Vu Khac has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Starting in 2001, Khac worked as a Civil Engineer at Sacidelta JV and later at Lung Lo in 2002. In 2007, Khac joined the Building and Construction Authority as a Research Engineer before becoming a Lecturer at the National University of Singapore in 2011. Khac also worked as a Research Fellow and Collaborator at the university from 2007 to 2010. Khac then transitioned to the private sector, working as a Consultant at Transerve Pte Ltd from 2005 to 2009 and as a Project Consultant at CS Structural Engineering Inc from 2008 to 2009. In 2008, Khac became a Technical and Business Advisor at Focomoco LLP, where the role lasted until 2012. Khac also worked as an R&D Advisor at Geoscan Pte Ltd from 2010. In 2012, Khac joined EMAS GROUP as a Lead Engineer in Marine Engineering, Structure, and Research, and then later became a Senior Engineer. Most recently, Khac has held positions at Subsea 7, serving as the Design Analysis Manager and the Head of Design and Analysis Engineering since 2019.

Kien Vu Khac completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, a five-year program which they attended from 1997 to 2002. Following this, they pursued their PhD in Engineering from the National University of Singapore, which they successfully obtained in the years between 2003 and 2007.
