Jenny Tsao

Jenny Tsao has had an extensive and diverse work experience. Jenny began their career as a Specialized Services Volunteer at Rush University Medical Center in 2002. Following this, they worked as a Sales Associate at Sally Beauty Company in 2006. In 2008, they were an Engineering Intern at Baxter Healthcare, where they collaborated with staff on global engineering change control and conducted product support laboratory studies. In 2009, they worked as a Process Development Intern at Boston Scientific, where they acted as a liaison between manufacturing and R&D, created documentation, and performed material testing. In 2010, they interned as a Gift Leasing Intern at Merchandise Mart Properties, Inc.

From 2010 to 2012, Jenny worked at the United States Postal Service as an Operations Industrial Engineer and Management Associate. Jenny'sresponsibilities included network optimization planning, staffing and scheduling model management, and leading Lean Six Sigma team projects. In 2012, they joined the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as an Office of Special Programs Student Coordinator and Engineering Learning Assistant. Jenny developed lesson plans, taught introductory topics, and coordinated outreach programs.

In 2014, Jenny joined the US Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery as a Senior Health Systems Engineer. Jenny utilized industrial engineering and Lean Six Sigma methodologies to optimize operations at medical treatment facilities. In 2019, they served as a Legislative Fellow at the United States Department of Defense, working on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. Finally, in 2022, they became the Chief Data Officer at the F-35 Joint Program Office.

Throughout their career, Jenny has shown expertise in engineering, data management, process optimization, and leadership.

Jenny Tsao has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Systems Engineering and Design, with an International Minor in Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Jenny obtained this degree, however, the specific start and end years are not provided.

After completing their undergraduate degree, Jenny pursued a Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from The Johns Hopkins University. Jenny enrolled in 2016 and completed their studies in 2018.
