Michelle Wantoch

Michelle Wantoch is a Senior Scientist at F-star, an invoX company, since February 2022, where expertise lies in developing bispecific antibodies in immuno-oncology and creating cell-based reporter assays and primary cell immunology assays. Previously, Michelle served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Cambridge from April 2018 to February 2022, focusing on cytokine signaling in haematopoietic stem cells and optimizing techniques to detect transcription factor binding sites. Michelle obtained a PhD in Molecular Immunology from the University of Leeds in 2018, where research involved human natural killer cell responses to oncolytic reovirus. Earlier academic experiences include an undergraduate project at the University of York and an industrial placement at GlaxoSmithKline, contributing to early drug development efforts.
