Brent Lin

Brent Lin has a diverse work experience in the field of business intelligence analysis. Brent started their career at Lamps Plus in 2015 as a Direct Marketing Analyst. In this role, they gained experience in analyzing marketing data. From 2017 to 2021, Brent worked at CHC Helicopter as a Business Intelligence Analyst. During their time at CHC Helicopter, they were responsible for building BI self-service data mart platforms, providing troubleshooting and user support, and delivering timely BI solutions across multiple domains. In 2021, Brent joined F12.net as a Business Intelligence Analyst. In this role, they are involved in designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions. Brent also automates existing BI solutions and develops queries and visualizations for ad-hoc requests and ongoing reporting. Overall, Brent has demonstrated expertise in BI analysis and a track record of delivering effective solutions.

Brent Lin has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Applied Mathematics & Statistics from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona. Prior to attending Cal Poly Pomona, they attended East Los Angeles College where they studied Mathematics. In terms of additional certifications, Brent obtained the IBM Data Science Professional Certificate from IBM in April 2019. Brent also holds the Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate certification, obtained in December 2021, and the Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate certification, obtained in October 2022. Additionally, Brent obtained an Advanced SQL Certificate from HackerRank in May 2022.
