Marcelo Omelczuk has a long and varied career in the pharmaceutical industry. Marcelo began their career in 1991 as an Assistant Fellow at Sandoz, and then moved to Schering-Plough Research Institute in 1993 as a Principal Scientist in Pharmaceutical Process Development. In 1997, they took a position at DuPont as Director of Pharmaceutical Technical Operations. Marcelo then moved to Novartis in 2001 as Executive Director of Pharmaceutical Technology & Contract Mfg. In 2005, they were promoted to Sr. Director of Product Development at Schering-Plough Pharmaceuticals. In 2008, they joined PharmaForm as Sr. Vice President of Business & Product Development. Finally, in 2011, they took a position at Allergan as Vice President of Global Pharmaceutical Technology & Launch Management, and in 2021 they moved to F2G as Vice President of Technical Operations & Supply Chain.
Marcelo Omelczuk received their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from The University of Texas at Austin and their Bachelor of Science - BS in Pharmacy from Rutgers University.
