Sebastian Brandes

Sebastian Brandes is a seasoned professional in product management and technology innovation, currently serving as a Senior Principal Product Manager at F5 since February 2024, leading the development of F5 Distributed Cloud Web App Scanning. Previously, Sebastian co-founded Heyhack, which focused on identifying and patching security vulnerabilities in web applications until its acquisition by F5. Before that, Sebastian co-founded Brevetti AI, which specialized in advanced computer vision algorithms for the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. Additional experience includes a partnership at Sensomind, roles at Microsoft in developer experience, and academic contributions as a teaching assistant. Sebastian holds an MSc in Microeconomics and Quantitative Methods from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and a BSc in Economics and Business Administration from Aarhus University, complemented by an exchange program at Tecnológico de Monterrey.
