Shaun Adams

Shaun Adams is a highly experienced software engineer with a diverse background in software development and system engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at F5 since April 2021, Shaun contributes to the data path components in F5 Distributed Cloud and has designed custom Envoy proxy extensions using C++17. Prior to this, Shaun held the role of Senior Software Engineer at NetApp SolidFire, focusing on Python infrastructure and test automation. Shaun's experience also includes positions at Seagate Technology, where automation tools for NVMe lab testing were developed, and JATCO, where embedded controls and software for automotive applications were created. Shaun's career began as a Developer at Codeware, working on engineering software for pressure vessels. Shaun holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Control Systems from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mathematics from The University of Texas at Austin.
