Senior Innovation Projects Manager at F6S

Diana Guardado has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Starting in 2009, they worked as a Graphic Designer for Grupo SINERGIAE and as an External Consultant for Associação Nacional para a Qualidade nas Instalações Prediais - ANQIP. In these roles, they focused on website design, visual communication, and implementing marketing materials.

In 2010, Diana joined Instituto Pedro Nunes as a Project and Innovation Ecosystem Manager, where they contributed to managing projects and fostering innovation.

From 2017 to 2018, Diana served as the EIT Health Innostars Regional Point of Contact at EIT Health InnoStars, where they maintained communication with partners and individuals in the healthcare industry.

In 2020, Diana became a Coordination member of "Rede Portuguesa Ambientes Saudáveis, Inteligentes e Amigáveis" and also assumed the role of Senior Manager of Innovation Projects at Cáritas Diocesana de Coimbra, where they managed EU projects and coordinated pilot initiatives for Active and Healthy Ageing.

In 2021, Diana took on the position of Head of Marketing and Communication at OG Medical, where they led marketing efforts. Diana also started working at F6S as an Innovation Projects Manager, supporting coordination of H2020 projects and leading workpackages related to communication, exploitation, and web-based platforms development.

In 2023, Diana joined the European Commission as an Expert, where they serve as an evaluator and adviser.

Diana Guardado started their education journey in 1995 at the Conservatório de Música de Coimbra, where they obtained a degree in Flauta Transversal. Diana then pursued further education in the field of music and completed a degree in Canto at the same institution from 2007 to 2011.

In 2004, Diana enrolled in the Universidade de Coimbra and graduated from the Visual Information Technology program in the Electrotechnical Engineering Department in 2008. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Visual Information Technology at the same university from 2008 to 2010.

Throughout their career, Diana also engaged in various training programs to enhance their skills. In 2012, they received training in Autodesk Inventor Professional from EdiCAD. In 2015, they participated in training sessions on Time Management and Personal Productivity as well as Requirements Engineering at the Instituto Pedro Nunes. Moreover, in 2016, Diana completed a Digital Accessibility MOOC at the University of Southampton.

Diana's academic journey continued with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program in Governance, Knowledge, and Innovation at the FEUC - Faculdade de Economia da Universidade de Coimbra from 2022. Prior to that, they undertook a short-term training on User Experience Design at Tangível (http://www.tangivel.com) in 2016. Diana also pursued additional training in 2017 at the Instituto Pedro Nunes in Internal information management and confidentiality duties in the field of Intellectual Property (IP).

Lastly, in 2018, Diana attended a training program on Advanced Excel at the Instituto Pedro Nunes.
