Daaf Sandkuijl

Daaf Sandkuijl is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in R&D and product development, currently serving as the Director of Product Development at Standard BioTools since 2015, where leadership in multi-million-dollar projects in laser micromachining, microscopy, and imaging has been demonstrated. Previous roles include Senior Manager and Senior Optical Scientist at Standard BioTools, Electro-Optical Designer at L-3 WESCAM, and Chief Engineer at QKD Corp., as well as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Toronto. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Toronto and a B.Sc. in Applied Physics from Eindhoven University of Technology.
