João Maia

João Maia is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the gaming and technology sectors, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at FABAMAQ since February 2010. In this role, João designs and implements business strategies, establishes performance goals, oversees operational activities across various departments, and manages stakeholder relationships. Previous positions include Chief Intelligence Officer, where João focused on long-term strategies for client satisfaction, and Game Math Manager, where performance monitoring and team development were priorities. With a strong foundation in software development and consulting from roles at Tangerina Freelance Team, ITSector, and Novabase, João holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Computers Engineering from Porto Business School and an Engineer's degree from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto.
