Rahel Gerber

Rahel Gerber is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in management, investment, and conservation. As Managing Partner at Impact Hub Basel since November 2021, Rahel leads initiatives to foster social entrepreneurship. Concurrently, Rahel serves as a Mentor and Investor at fabas - radikal lokal, and a Coach for the Migros Pioneer Fund through Engagement Migros. With a background in strategic investments at Fundament AG, Rahel focused on deep impact start-ups and SMEs in food, circular economy, and biodiversity. Rahel also contributed significantly to WWF Switzerland, leading the WWF Impact Ventures program and initiating a biodiversity impact fund. Previous roles include positions at Swiss Reinsurance Company and KASERNE BASEL, where Rahel was involved in corporate partnerships and operations. Rahel holds a Master’s Degree in Law from the University of Basel and a Master’s Degree in Arts Management from the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, along with additional educational pursuits at ThePower Business School and ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences.
