Björn Fanta

Björn Fanta has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Björn currently holds the position of Head Of Research at Fabasoft since May 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Research Alliances at Fabasoft from October 2020 to May 2022, and as an Innovation Manager from January 2018 to October 2020.

In addition to their work at Fabasoft, Björn has also worked with other organizations. Björn was Co-Lead of TF4: Cybersecurity at the European Commission's EU Alliance for Industrial Data, Edge & Cloud since December 2021. Björn also served as the Gaia-X Contact for Fabasoft at Gaia-X Association for Data and Cloud (AISBL) since April 2021.

Furthermore, Björn has experience working as an ETSI Delegate for Fabasoft at ETSI since October 2019. Prior to their role at Fabasoft, they worked as an Innovation Manager at Software Quality Lab GmbH from September 2015 to December 2017.

Before that, Björn held the position of Project Manager Funding Advisory Management at Business Upper Austria - OÖ Wirtschaftsagentur GmbH from November 2014 to August 2015. Björn was involved in projects related to innovation management and provided support for European funding programs.

Björn's earlier work experience includes the role of a Project Manager for International Technology Cooperation at CATT Innovation Management GmbH from October 2011 to October 2014. Björn also worked as a Research Assistant at Johannes Kepler University from March 2010 to September 2011.

Björn Fanta obtained their Master's degree in Business/Managerial Economics from Johannes Kepler Universität Linz, where they studied from 2005 to 2011. In addition to their degree, they also achieved the certification of Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance in October 2018.
