Michael Karakatsanis

Michael Karakatsanis is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership and strategic management across various sectors, primarily within the food and consumer goods industries. Currently serving as Managing Director - APAC at Faber-Castell Group since April 2021, Michael oversees P&L and commercial responsibilities for key markets in Asia and the Indo-Pacific. Prior to this role, Michael was Managing Director at AW Faber-Castell Australia from May 2018 to May 2021. Michael's tenure at Nestlé from January 2004 to April 2018 included multiple management positions, such as Head of New Business Development, where a start-up was created within the company, and various regional marketing and national account manager roles, demonstrating a consistent track record of driving growth and executing successful portfolio strategies. Michael holds a Bachelor of Economics with Honours from the University of Sydney.
