Lei Tang

Lei Tang's work experience includes being a Co-Founder & CTO at Fabi.ai as the current role, where they focus on transforming data analytics through trustworthy AI and hiring data infrastructure or full-stack engineers. Before that, they worked as the Director of Data Science at Lyft from April 2018 to December 2022. Prior to Lyft, they served as the Chief Data Scientist at Clari from 2014 to 2018, and as a Principal Data Scientist at @WalmartLabs from June 2012 to July 2014. Lei's experience also includes working as a Scientist at Yahoo! Labs from August 2010 to 2012, where they contributed to social and behavioral targeting and advertising, modeled strength and influence in large-scale social networks, and conducted data analytics using Hadoop MapReduce. Earlier in their career, they worked as a DMR Research Intern at Yahoo! in 2008 and as an intern at AOL in 2005.

Lei Tang holds a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from Arizona State University. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Fudan University. No specific start and end years were provided for either of these educational experiences.
