Alessandro Torrisi

Alessandro Torrisi has extensive work experience in the field of data science and computer vision research. Alessandro is currently employed as a Senior Data Scientist at Fable Data since May 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Fletchers Group as a Lead Data Scientist from April 2020 to April 2023. Alessandro also served as a KTP Research Associate at the University of Liverpool from April 2017 to April 2020. In addition, Alessandro worked as a Manager of natural reserves and Computer Vision researcher at Università di Catania from April 2015 to March 2017. Before that, they were a Software Engineer at Garibaldi Hospital of Catania from August 2013 to July 2014. Alessandro also completed their Ph.D. at Università di Catania from November 2009 to March 2013, and they were a Visiting Ph.D. Student at the University of Hertfordshire from January 2011 to July 2011.

Alessandro Torrisi obtained a Laurea Specialistica in Informatica from Università di Catania in the Facoltà di Scienze Matematiche Fisiche e Naturali from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they also earned a Laura Triennale in Informatica from the same university and faculty from 2003 to 2007. In addition to their degrees, Alessandro also obtained certifications including the Cambridge FCE from the University of Cambdrige - Cambridge English Language Assessment in July 2016 and the Cambridge PET in July 2007.
