Michal Malyska

Michal Malyska is a seasoned machine learning professional with extensive experience in both academia and industry. Currently serving as the Machine Learning Operations Lead at Fable Therapeutics since January 2024, Michal previously held roles as a Sessional Lecturer at the University of Toronto, teaching courses in probabilistic machine learning and statistical methods from January 2023 to August 2023 and September 2021 to May 2022, respectively. With a background as Machine Learning Lead and Machine Learning Scientist at Semantic Health (June 2019 - December 2022), Michal also contributed as a Course Instructor at the University of Toronto from September 2018 to June 2020. Other notable experiences include an actuarial analyst position at Deloitte, consulting at The Swan School International, and internships with belairdirect and Raiffeisen Bank International AG. Michal holds a Master of Science in Statistics and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Toronto.
