Alexandra Shimamoto

Alexandra Shimamoto's work experience includes serving as the Global Head of People at fabric since September 2019. In this role, they are responsible for HR functions such as recruiting, hiring, onboarding, payroll, employee relations, and compliance. Previously, they worked at Build.com as the Director of Talent Acquisition from February 2019 to September 2019, where they managed a team of recruiters and set the recruiting strategy for the company. Alexandra also worked as a Technical Recruiter at Build.com from January 2015 to January 2019, specializing in recruiting for technical roles. Prior to that, Alexandra worked at Farmers Insurance District 9531 as a Farmers Insurance District Recruiting Manager from August 2011 to December 2014, where they recruited and supported professionals and business owners. Alexandra also held the position of Insurance Agent at Farmers Insurance from August 2010 to August 2011. Alexandra's earliest work experience was as the General Manager at Palisades Cafe and Grill from June 2009 to July 2010.

Alexandra Shimamoto attended Arizona Western College from 2006 to 2008, where they studied General Studies. In 2011, they obtained certifications in Life and Health Insurance License and Property and Casualty Insurance License from the California Department of Insurance.
