Chirag Patel

Chirag Patel has extensive experience in technology leadership, currently serving as Senior Vice President at fabric since April 2021, focusing on delivery, solution engineering, customer success, and digital consulting. Prior to this role, Chirag was the Head of Technology for the State of Rhode Island from March 2018 to March 2021, where responsibilities included leading technology responses during the COVID-19 pandemic, exemplified by the rapid development of a contact tracing platform and the CrushCovidRI mobile app. Earlier positions include the Chief of IT for the State of Rhode Island, managing digital strategy and a workforce of approximately 1,000 IT professionals, as well as heading the Retail Business Unit at Tata Consultancy Services for eight years and serving as a Delivery Partner in China. Chirag holds a Master's degree in Computer Applications from AICT and a Bachelor's degree in Science - Instrumentation from M.S. University of Baroda.
