Katja Ash, CHRL

Katja Ash is the Chief People Officer at Fabriik, a transformative financial services organization with a mission to evolve the global financial system. Katja has been with the company since October 2019 and in their role, they lead the global People & Culture strategy and assembles the best minds to shift their industry.

Prior to joining Fabriik, Katja was the Vice President of Human Resources & Operations at Hummingbird Lawyers LLP from October 2019 to December 2020. In this role, they provided top class legal counsel to families and businesses in their community.

Katja is a certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) and has a passion for helping others thrive. Katja is an innovator in their field and is always looking for new ways to help their team grow and develop.

Katja Ash, CHRL has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management with a minor in Urban Geography. Katja also has a Leadership Communications Program from Harvard Extension School. In addition, they are a Certified Human Resources Professional from the Human Resources Professionals Association and has a Canadian Securities Course from the Canadian Securities Institute. Finally, they have The Athena Program from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management. Katja also has certification from HRPA - Human Resources Professionals Association in Certified Human Recouces Leader (CHRL) and from the Human Resources Professionals Association in Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP).

Katja Ash, CHRL reports to Roy Bernhard, President & Co-Founder. They are on a team with Alice Abbott - Chief Legal Officer & Chief Compliance Officer, Steve Bailey - Chief Operating Officer, and Jerry Blanton - Chief Marketing Officer.
