Ales Starek

Ales Starek has a strong background in finance, with experience in various leadership roles. Ales served as Chief Financial Officer at FACC AG from October 2016 to the present. Prior to that, they held the same role at Nidec GPM GmbH from February 2015 to September 2016. Ales also served as Chief Financial Officer at Nidec Motors and Actuators GmbH from April 2014 to September 2016. Before joining Nidec, they worked at Webasto as CFO Region Asia from January 2008 to March 2014. Ales also has experience at Nokia Siemens Networks as Head of Corporate Finance Treasury from July 2006 to December 2007, and at Siemens AG as Head of Treasury Advisory and Solutions from September 2000 to June 2006. In their various roles, Ales has been responsible for financial management, treasury operations, risk management, and strategic planning.

Ales Starek pursued their education in a chronological order, starting from 1991 to 1997. During this time, they attended the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), where they obtained a degree in Industrial Engineering. After that, they furthered their academic pursuits by attending Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business from 2000 to 2002. At Duke, they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance.
