Alexander Hochmeier

Alexander Hochmeier has extensive work experience in the field of information technology and security. Alexander currently holds the position of Vice President Information Technology & Security at FACC AG since November 2021. Prior to this role, they served as Head of Group IT at FACC AG from October 2019 to October 2021. Alexander has also held various roles at HOFER Österreich, including Director IT S/E & Deployment Lead IT Transformation, IT Manager, and Project Management IT/SCM/Logistics, from June 2012 to September 2019. In addition, they have worked as a Lecturer and Research Associate at the University of Applied Sciences, specializing in areas such as Marketing and Electronic Business, Business Applications, and the Digital Economy. Before that, Alexander gained experience in ERP project management and consulting roles at ECOSOL Betriebswirtschaftliche EDV-Lösungen GmbH, SYSco EDV ist Vertrauenssache GmbH, PAA Laboratories GmbH, Infoniqa Informationstechnik GmbH, and voestalpine Informationstechnologie GmbH. Alexander is also involved in the CIO Inside Digital Business Summit and Confare GmbH as a member of the Advisory Board and CIO Fachbeirat, respectively.

Alexander Hochmeier completed their Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Electronic Business at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria from 2006 to 2009. Following this, they pursued their Master's degree in Supply Chain Management at the same university, from 2009 to 2011.
