Günter Nelböck has extensive work experience in the aviation and engineering industry. Günter started their career at Miba AG in 2001, where they served as the Head of Advanced Engineering until 2009. From 2009 to 2017, they worked at FACC Operations GmbH as the Program Director. In 2017, they joined FACC AG as the Vice President of Engines & Nacelles.
Günter Nelböck completed their education at various institutions. From 1990 to 1998, they attended Johannes Kepler Universität Linz, where they earned a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering. Later on, they pursued a master's degree at Limak Austrian Business School, completing a Master of Science (MSc) in Management for Engineers from 2008 to 2010. Following this, they furthered their education at the same institution, obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) between 2013 and 2014.
