Internal Tools and Platform Manager

The Internal Tools and Platforms Manager role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of our internal platforms and tools, including but not limited to CRM systems, VOIP solutions, and Med Spa/Clinical support systems. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and a strategic mindset to drive continuous improvement and innovation across our internal infrastructure. This position reports to the Director of IT Operations and will work with cross-functional partners. This is a hybrid position where you will work on-site in Danville Tuesdays - Thursdays and remotely Mondays and Fridays.

 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize the strategic roadmap for internal platforms and tools
  • Oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of all major internal platforms, ensuring high availability and reliability
  • Work with key stakeholders to understand system requirements, use cases, and business needs, and select, build, or customize solutions to meet their needs
  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements in alignment with business goals and priorities
  • Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to implement upgrades, patches, and enhancements to existing platforms
  • Develop and enforce best practices and standards for platform usage, data integrity, and access control
  • Conduct regular assessments of platform performance and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and innovation
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend new solutions and initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of platform-related projects, including migrations, integrations, and customizations
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders across departments, including Sales, Customer Success, and Product Development to understand their needs and requirements
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on platform performance, project status, and strategic initiatives
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation within the cross functional teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant field or equivalent experience
  • 9+ years of experience in IT management, software development, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, MS Dynamics 365 Fundamentals, HubSpot, Oracle, NetSuite, PMP) are a plus
  • Prior CRM Implementation or development experience
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and identify key areas of improvement
  • Strong program management and product lifecycle experience
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and convey complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner
  • Proficient in technical data analysis and software testing
  • Cross-functional team player with a track record of building positive relationships, and influencing without authority
  • Ability to work and complete projects with minimal supervision
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Physical Requirements: 

  • Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk and bend for extended periods
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Ability to move around the office including stooping, crouching, and/or kneeling to troubleshoot issues
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written form
  • Comfortable lifting, pushing, and pulling equipment and materials
  • Comfortable using a computer, keyboard, and mouse

Salary: $120k-140k per year plus yearly bonus and full benefits
