Javier Maestro

Javier Maestro is a Production Engineer at Meta. Javier previously worked as a Backend Engineer at Tuenti Technologies S.L., where they were responsible for the refactoring and rewriting of the 'blog' and 'image' functionalities, as well as the backend and API for Tuenti monetary transactions and for social games and applications platform (Tuenti Juegos).

Javier has a wealth of experience working with large amounts of data, both in terms of storage and network traffic. Javier is an expert in designing and developing backend systems that are able to handle huge quantities of data efficiently.

Javier Maestro is a telecommunications engineer who has studied at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and UNSW. Javier has also completed an International Baccalaureate at Waterford Kamhlaba UWC of Southern Africa.
