R. Byron Hord

R. Byron Hord has a long and varied work experience in the gaming and esports industry. R. Byron started their career in 2013 as the Founder of Uneq Interactive, and then went on to become a Business Development Consultant at RFworx in 2014. In 2015, they took on a role as an eSport Consultant at Intersport, and then in 2016 became a Game Writer at TinyCo and a Producer at FACEIT Ltd. In 2017, Hord worked as a Game Writer/Narrative Designer at East Side Games, and in 2018 they were the Head of Esports Operations - ESPOT Division at OpticaSports. In 2021, Hord was the Manager, Investor Outreach at Big Sugar Games/ Digerati Games and a Content Writer at Misfits Gaming Group.

R. Byron Hord attended Georgia Institute of Technology from 1995 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Industrial and Systems Engineering in Industrial Engineering. R. Byron also attended Morehouse College from 1992 to 1997.
