Ander Martínez Cortizas

Ander Martínez Cortizas has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries.

Starting in 2011, they worked as an Analyst at C-Pago until August 2012.

In 2012, they co-founded MundoGlass.es and served as a Co-Founder until January 2013.

From January 2013 to July 2016, Ander acted as a Project Manager and Co-Founder at Scalar Drone, where they focused on smart glass technology, wearables, and IoT. Ander managed projects, provided consultancy services, and led teams both locally and remotely.

In 2014, Ander took on the role of a Google's Summer of Code Mentor, working with CCExtractor to improve its functionalities.

From June 2016 to August 2017, Ander served as the Head of Android at Boompi.com, a start-up focused on a new way to meet people nearby. During this time, they also headed new features at TherapyChat.com, an online psychology service provider.

In February 2018, Ander joined TalentoMOBILE as a Senior Android Developer until July 2018.

In July 2018, they became a Project Manager in the Mobility and Innovation Department at ALTEN SPAIN until June 2019.

From May 2019 to May 2021, Ander worked as a SW Architect at Paradigma Digital.

Currently, since May 2021, Ander holds two positions at Facephi. Ander is a Senior Cloud Architect and also the Data Engineer Lead.

Ander Martínez Cortizas earned an Engineer's Degree in Technology/Computer Engineering from the Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca, completing their studies between 1993 and 1998. In addition to their degree, they obtained several certifications, including a Professional Cloud Architect certification from Google in November 2019, an Android Developer Nanodegree from Udacity in April 2016, and a Google Summer of Code certification from Google Summer of Code in April 2016.
