Marcos Moreira

Marcos Moreira has a diverse work history spanning over 15 years. Marcos began their career as a Técnico de Suporte at Grupo A&C, where they provided IT infrastructure support for various operations. Marcos then moved on to work as an Analista de TI at Construtora Aterpa S.A., where they were responsible for network administration and server management.

In 2013, Marcos joined ToLife S/A as an Analista de Sistemas Senior, taking on roles such as managing technology projects, leading development teams, and overseeing support teams. During this time, they gained experience in project management, utilizing methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, and DevOps. Marcos also worked on innovative projects, including utilizing artificial intelligence with IBM Watson and business intelligence using Microsoft Power BI.

Most recently, Marcos joined FACINGS in 2021 as a DevOps Engineer, SRE, and Platform Engineer. Marcos has taken on significant responsibilities such as implementing and managing the company's workload in the AWS cloud, utilizing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform for cost reduction and improved deployment speed. Marcos has also implemented CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab and AWS CodePipeline, managed ECS and EKS clusters, and created custom Docker images for application deployment.

Marcos has a strong background in cloud technologies, including experience with AWS services such as CloudFront, S3, EC2, Load Balancer, Route53, Lambda, VPC Endpoint, and API Gateway. Marcos has also implemented monitoring and metric tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch. Additionally, they have worked with Apache SuperSet for strategic data evaluation and created lambda functions and Python scripts for automation within the AWS cloud.

Throughout their career, Marcos has demonstrated strong technical expertise and a collaborative approach to project management and team leadership. Marcos is experienced in a variety of technologies and has a solid understanding of cloud-based infrastructure and DevOps practices.

Marcos Moreira completed their education from 2010 to 2012 at the Faculdade Inforium de Tecnologia, where they received a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Information Technology. In addition to their formal education, they obtained the GitLab Certified Associate certification from Badgr in April 2021 and the Scrum Foundation Professional Certificate (SFPC) from CertiProf in August 2020.
