Andrés Vélez Echeverri

Andrés Vélez Echeverri has worked in a variety of roles related to Machine Learning and Data Science since 2015. Andrés began as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at Empresas Públicas de Medellín - EPM in 2015 and then worked as a Data Scientist at Cementos Argos in 2016. From 2017 to 2018, they held roles as a Machine Learning Engineer, Data Scientist, and Lecturer at Konecta Corporativa, Universidad Nacional de Colombia, and Universidad EAFIT, respectively. In 2018, they also worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Deeplearning AI- Arista. Since 2020, they have been employed as a Machine Learning Engineer at Universidad Continental and Factored.

Andrés Vélez Echeverri obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Statistics from Universidad Nacional de Colombia between 2010 and 2016. In 2016, they obtained two Coursera Course Certificates, one for Hadoop Platform and Application Framework and one for Introducción a Big Data. Finally, they completed a Master's degree in Computer Science from Universidad Nacional de Colombia between 2017 and 2019.
