Vinith Kumar has a wealth of experience in the field of machine learning and big data. vinith began their career in 2015 as a Lead Data Scientist at Freshworks. During their tenure there, they implemented a document retrieval system using features extracted from BERT, designed and implemented a customer churn prediction model from click activity data and XGBoost, and designed and implemented a recommendation engine using Non-Negative Matrix Factorization for Freshworks app-store. vinith also served as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer. In 2015, Vinith Kumar joined Altiux Innovations as an Engineer - Big Data. During their time there, they worked on creating a real time complex event processing system using Apache-Spark, implemented a simple event processing system using Spark-SQL and MongoDB, and explored Big-Data technologies like HADOOP, SPARK, and KAFKA. In 2020, Vinith Kumar joined Factors.AI as a Machine Learning Engineer.

Vinith Kumar has a diverse educational background. vinith completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from the College of Engineering Guindy, Chennai in 2009. vinith then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Advanced Computing Science from the University of Nottingham in 2011 and 2012. In 2013, they obtained a Master of Technology in Artificial Intelligence, previously known as (M.E SSA- System Science and Automation) from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc).
