Matthew Bedder

Matthew Bedder is an experienced Senior Machine Learning Engineer currently with Faculty since September 2023. Previously, Matthew held key roles at Improbable as a Senior Model Engineer, leading technical direction for Defence and National Security projects, and at Secondmind, where roles included Modelling Team Lead and Machine Learning Engineering Team Lead. Matthew has a strong background in customer-facing modelling, team management, and collaboration across disciplines, while also contributing to academic roles at the University of York as a Postgraduate Teaching Assistant. Matthew's expertise includes technologies such as Python, PostgreSQL, Docker, and Kubernetes, supported by a solid educational foundation with a Master of Engineering in Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence from the University of York.
