Dr. Mohammad Akhtar

Dr. Mohammad Akhtar is a seasoned academic and professional in the fields of Supply Chain and Operations Management. Currently serving as a Professor at the School of Business since July 2019, Dr. Akhtar also holds the position of Visiting Professor at the Faculty of Management Studies - University of Delhi since November 2017, where numerous courses in Operations and Supply Chain Management have been taught. Previous roles include Associate Professor at the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies and Consultant and Visiting Professor in Management. Dr. Akhtar's extensive industry experience includes key positions at ONGC and Cristal, highlighting a robust career spanning over three decades. Academic credentials include a PhD in Management from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, a Master’s in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Indian Institute of Technology, and an Associate’s Degree in Computer Applications from the University of Mumbai.
