Kevi Louis-Johnson has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. In 2009, they worked as a Motion Designer at Microsoft's Office Labs, focusing on prototype animations and visualizing future technology and user interactions. They then took on freelance roles at Artichoke and Stardust Studios in 2010. Later that year, they joined Hornall Anderson as a Senior Designer, responsible for designing interactive brand experiences in retail spaces and utilizing motion design. In 2014, Kevi briefly served as an Instructor at the School of Visual Concepts. They founded their own company, Komuna, in 2021, and also held the position of Creative Director at FACULTY.

Kevi Louis-Johnson completed a BFA in Computer Graphics/ Digital Design Arts at Pratt Institute from 2002 to 2006. Subsequently, from 2007 to 2009, they pursued an MA in Broadcast Design & Motion Graphics at Savannah College of Art and Design.
