Sarah Vingerhoedt

Head Audio/technical Director at FAENA

Sarah Vingerhoedt has a diverse work experience in the field of audio engineering. Sarah began their career as a Freelance professional in 2009, where they held various roles such as FOH engineer, monitor engineer, RF/COM technician, A2, and system engineer. During this time, they also worked as an intern at Acoutech and an assistant audio engineer/production engineer at Jet Wash Studios.

In 2012, Sarah joined the New World Symphony as a part-time audio engineer and later moved on to work as an A2 at Circo Massimo Entertainment. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a stage technician at Clevelander Hotel.

In 2016, they joined Bard College as an FOH Speigeltent, where they were responsible for mixing shows, setting up and tuning audio systems, and managing a crew of audio technicians.

Sarah has also gained experience in the music industry, working as a touring FOH engineer for Macy Gray and Concha Buika in 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Head Audio/Technical Director at Faena, where they oversee audio operations and serves as a monitor engineer.

Sarah Vingerhoedt attended TASIS The American School In England from 2003 to 2007, where they completed their College Preparatory degree in High School. Sarah then went on to pursue a Bachelor in Music degree with a focus on Commercial Music - Technology at Florida Atlantic University from 2007 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Sarah has also obtained certifications in L'Acoustics K1, L'Acoustics System Fundamentals, OSHA 10, and SMAART V8.
