Derek Miller

Vice President of Sales at Fair Harbor

Derek Miller has worked in the sales industry since 1998. Derek began their career as a Principal Partner and Managing Director of The Alliance Sales Group, where they acted as an agent for various action sports brands. In 1999, they joined DC Shoes as a Senior Account Executive, managing sales for the company's largest accounts. In 2006, they became the Eastern Region Sales Manager for C1RCA/Four Star Distribution. In 2010, they were promoted to Director of Domestic Sales at Four Star Distribution, providing oversight for the entire North American marketplace. Derek also served as the active account executive for Genesco (Journeys) account. In 2011, they were promoted to Vice President of Sales and Director of Footwear Sales at DC Shoes. In 2013, they became the Vice President of Footwear Sales for DC, Roxy, and Quiksilver Footwear. In 2014, they were promoted to Vice President of Sales for Quiksilver, DC Shoes, and Roxy. In 2016, they joined Wolverine Worldwide as the Director of Apparel & Footwear Sales. Finally, in 2022, they were appointed as the Vice President of Sales for Fair Harbor.

Derek Miller received their education from Columbia College Chicago, where they studied Communication, Arts. Derek has also obtained three certifications: Wolverine Worldwide: Leading Forward from Harvard Business Publishing Corporate Learning in January 2021, Harvard ManageMentor from Harvard Business Publishing Corporate Learning in May 2018, and Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (ICYB) from Washburn University in August 2016.
