Sherilynn Petit

Sherilynn Petit has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, most recently serving as the Director of Nursing at Fair Haven Community Health Care since 2023. Prior to that, they held the same position at Hartford HealthCare from 2019 to 2022. Earlier in their career, Sherilynn worked at Yale New Haven Hospital, where they held various roles including Patient Service Manager for Outpatient Services and Assistant Patient Service Manager for the Mother and Baby Unit. Sherilynn also served as a Clinical Nurse IV in the Centralized Scheduling and Staffing Department, where they coordinated staff for various units and provided leadership and clinical expertise. Throughout their career, Sherilynn has developed departmental goals, policies, and procedures, as well as acted as a Rapid Response Nurse.

Sherilynn Petit has a Master of Science degree in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University. Sherilynn also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Grand Canyon University and an Associate's degree in Nursing from Quinnipiac University. In 2016, they obtained the Certified Nurse Manager and Leader (CNML) certification from the American Organization for Nursing Leadership.
