Fajar Maulana Firdaus

Fajar Maulana Firdaus has a diverse work experience in various engineering and leadership roles. Fajar Maulana is currently the Head of Engineering at Fairatmos, where they lead teams in delivering services, automation tools, and machine learning models to mitigate carbon emissions. Fajar Maulana focuses on improving development flow and engineering processes for increased productivity and enjoyment.

Prior to their current role, Fajar worked at HappyFresh as the Head of Engineering from 2020 to 2022. During their tenure, they also served as a Principal Software Engineer, contributing to the company's technical development.

Before HappyFresh, Fajar held the position of Engineering Manager at Airy Rooms from 2016 to 2020. Fajar Maulana led enterprise teams and worked on improving development flow and engineering processes.

Fajar also worked at Sale Stock as a Software Engineer from 2015 to 2016. Fajar Maulana designed and implemented a microservice architecture and mentored the team to maintain a healthy remote working culture.

In 2013, Fajar co-founded Sirclo and served as the CTO until 2015. Fajar Maulana also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Ice House and Rocket Internet GmbH.

Earlier in their career, Fajar was a Software Engineer at Yahoo! from 2010 to 2012. Fajar Maulana also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University, where they assisted professors in delivering course materials and provided guidance to students. Additionally, they worked as a Project Officer at Nanyang Technological University, where they developed a framework for network delay measurement tools.

Fajar Maulana Firdaus obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore in the years 2004 to 2008. During the same period, they also pursued a Minor degree in Business at Nanyang Business School. Subsequently, they completed a Master of Science in Information Technology at Carnegie Mellon University from 2009 to 2010.
