Montean Jackson

Montean Jackson has extensive experience in educational and clinical settings, currently serving as the Director of Discipline & Prevention/Intervention Programs for the Fairbanks North Star Borough School District since September 2003. In this role, Montean Jackson directs the K-12 Safe and Drug Free Schools Program and the Discipline Alternative School for suspended and expelled students. Previous experience includes a position as a Clinician at Pacific Rim Counseling from September 2004 to December 2007, providing outpatient clinical services to adults and adolescents. Additionally, Montean Jackson was an Adjunct at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, Tanana Valley Campus, from January 1994 to December 2007, teaching courses in Computer Business Applications and African-American Family Systems. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Sciences from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, obtained between 1991 and 1998, and a High School Diploma from Austin E. Lathrop High, earned in 1974.
