Sammie Young

Sammie Young currently serves as the Family Minister to Students at Fairfax Church of Christ, a position held since April 2014, focusing on engaging with junior high and high school students and their families through faith. Prior experience includes roles as an Attorney in the U.S. House of Representatives and as Volunteer Coordinator for the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies in the U.S. Senate. Additional legal experience encompasses being a Contracting Attorney at LegalSource and serving as Chief of Staff and Professional Staff Member in the Office of the Secretary of the Senate. Sammie Young holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Virginia.
