Krista's career began in 2003 when they founded Booking Authors, an independent marketing and PR agency. Krista provided organizational relations for authors and experts, building valuable connections with influencers and organizations.

Before Booking Authors, Krista owned and operated their own marketing and communications support company, Krista & Co. Krista offered services such as copywriting, business development, and ghostwriting.

Earlier in their career, Krista worked as the Director of Events at Meryl Moss Media Relations from 2001 to 2003.
