Ryan Deal

Ryan Deal has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and positions. Ryan currently serves as the Director of Community Philanthropy at Fairfield County's Community Foundation, where they focus on generating awareness and support for the foundation's work in addressing racial inequities. Prior to this, they worked as a Professional Life Coach and Enneagram Educator at Fourward Bound, helping mid-career professionals align their passions with their careers. From 2019 to 2023, Ryan was the Chief Creative Economy Officer at the City of Greensboro. Before that, they served as the Director of Advancement at the Children's Theatre of Charlotte from 2018 to 2019. Ryan also held the position of Vice President of Cultural and Community Investment at Arts & Science Council from 2009 to 2018.

Ryan Deal completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro from 2000 to 2018. Ryan is currently enrolled in a certification program at Symbiosis Coaching & Certified Coaches Alliance to become a Certified Self Actualization Coach and Certified Leadership Development Coach, which they are expected to complete in 2023. In addition, they obtained the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) certification from the International Coaching Federation in November 2023.
