Scott C. Jarzombek

Scott C. Jarzombek serves as the Town Librarian at Fairfield Public Library since November 2021 and concurrently holds the position of Adjunct Lecturer at the University at Albany, SUNY, where classes taught include Public Libraries and Administration of Information Agencies. Previously, Scott C. Jarzombek was the Executive Director of Albany Public Library, where significant initiatives included transitioning to a “Fine Free” model and evaluating summer reading program effectiveness. Additional roles include Library Director at Town of North Castle, Director at The Pawling Library providing emergency services during weather crises, and Head of Youth Services at Poughkeepsie Public Library District. Scott C. Jarzombek holds a Certificate of Graduate Study in Public Sector Management and has advanced degrees in Library and Information Science, as well as History and Secondary Education.
