Emily Halderson

Emily Halderson is an experienced elementary school teacher currently working in Fairfield Public Schools as a full-time lead teacher for a 2nd grade classroom since August 2022. Previously, Emily taught 5th grade at Westport Public Schools from August 2021 to August 2022 and served as a student teacher in a first grade classroom at Fairfield Public Schools earlier in 2021. In addition to teaching, Emily has a background in coaching field hockey at Fairfield University, where coaching responsibilities began in 2016, coupled with managing a summer field hockey camp in 2021. Additional experience includes roles as a Registered Behavior Technician, painter, busser, and inventory control specialist. Emily holds a Master's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, both from Fairfield University.
