James Bettencourt

James Bettencourt has extensive experience in operations management. James currently serves as the Vice President of Operations at Fairfield Residential, where they are responsible for overseeing maintenance operations for over 170 properties across the United States. Prior to this, James worked as the Regional Vice President of Operations at Aimbridge Hospitality, where they managed 36 hotels and successfully transitioned a portfolio of properties to new ownership. James also served as the Regional Vice President of Operations at Seniority Inc, where they played a key role in implementing operational processes for highly efficient communities. Before entering the private sector, James worked in the US Navy as a Nuclear Machinist Mate, where they demonstrated strong leadership skills and received top ratings for their performance. Additionally, James has experience in facility and operations management at Irvine Valley College, where they managed budgets, oversaw construction projects, and implemented energy management programs.

James Bettencourt earned a Bachelor's Degree in Nuclear Engineering Technology from Thomas Edison State University in 2014. In 2016, they completed their Master's Degree in Nuclear Energy Technology Management from the same institution. Prior to their studies at Thomas Edison, James attended the Nuclear Power School-Naval Nuclear Power Training Command (NNPTC) from 2003 to 2005, where they obtained a Nuclear Operator Certification. James'seducation also includes attending ITT Technical Institute-Norwood from 1999 to 2001, where they studied Computer Network Systems.
