William Arias

William Arias has extensive work experience in the property management industry. From 1996 to 2002, they worked as an Area Regional Maintenance Manager at Windsor Communities. William then joined A&R Companies as a Director of Maintenance from 2003 to 2006. Following that, they worked at Archstone as a Senior Regional Service Manager from 2006 to 2008. Arias then joined AvalonBay Communities and held the position of Senior Regional Director from 2008 to the present. Additionally, they are slated to begin a role as the Vice President of Maintenance Operations at Fairfield Residential in 2023. Throughout their career, Arias has been responsible for various aspects of maintenance management, such as overseeing staff, systems utilization, budget planning, and vendor selection.

William Arias completed their education from 1993 to 1997 at Northern Virginia Community College, where they majored in HVAC Technology & Construction Management. Following that, from 1997 to 1999, they attended the National Association of Power Engineers and obtained a degree in HVAC & Heat Pumps. In addition to their formal education, William also obtained additional certifications, such as "Leading Effectively Through Teams" from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in May 2011 and "GREEN Awareness Certification (HVAC - Electrical - Plumbing)" from Ferris State University - College of Technology in January 1998.
