Marta Anne Taddeo

Marta Anne Taddeo is an accomplished academic and coach with a strong background in biology, biochemistry, and chemistry. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor of the Practice in Biology and Biochemistry at the University of New Haven since August 2019, Marta has also held positions as a Full Time Lecturer and Adjunct Professor of Chemistry at Fairfield University. In addition to academia, Marta is the Head Swim Coach at the YMCA of Stratford and has extensive coaching experience, including roles with the Westport Weston YMCA and Zeus Swim Team. Educationally, Marta holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and has earned multiple master's degrees and a bachelor's degree in related fields from Case Western Reserve University and the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
